Lesley Bam

I am a certified master coach who holds 22 years experience in the field of learning and organisational development across multiple industries. I have a deep passion for developing and empowering people. I am also a business owner with more than 15 years business experience. In 2018, I was honored with the Business Woman of the Year Award for the Western Cape region in the corporate category.
I hold a Master of Philosophy in Leadership Coaching from the University of Stellenbosch Business School and am currently completing my Master’s in Change Leadership with GIBS, University of Pretoria.
My professional background includes senior leadership roles in learning and development, where I was responsible for designing and implementing large-scale leadership programmes, culture interventions and talent development strategies.
My coaching and facilitation approach is informed by a range of theoretical perspectives including integral theory, reflective learning, leadership agility and the thinking environment methodology. These frameworks support leaders in developing deeper awareness, clarity of thought and purposeful action.
I am a member of COMENSA and hold multiple professional certifications in coaching, leadership development, change management, and psychometric assessments.
The intent of my coaching is to provide leaders with a gift of their own thinking to explore new possibilities and through this I use my coaching and facilitation skills to empower and promote authentic leadership through the construct of self-awareness.
I have a heart for community and making a difference in our country. To this end I am the Founder of Project 31, a community based initiative, that creates various platforms for community members to join hands by giving and serving, with the intent to empower and restore hope.
My passion for coaching and people development spills over to opening the throttle of my motorcycle where I use this exhilarating experience as a narrative to demonstrate how I approach my life journey.
